The efficient and effective collection and use of data is key to successful implementation of SW-PBS.
MO SW-PBS has developed a set of free Tier 2 & Tier 3 Data Tools to assist schools in developing a system for ongoing monitoring.

Schedule for data submissions for the current school year |
Advanced Tier Spreadsheet Instructions |
Instructions for using the ATS-Classic, the ATS-Segments, the ATS-Classic for Google Sheets, and the ATS-Segments for Google Sheets. |
Advanced Tier Spreadsheet Classic (ATS-Classic) |
The ATS-Classic is used to monitor Tier 2 and Tier 3 data. It does so by calculating a percent, and charting the calculated percentages. A calculated percent gives a percentage in which looked for events occur out of possible opportunities. This could include points earned out of points possible (as in CICO); assignments completed out of assignments given; behavior events observed out of the number of time segments sampled; behavior events observed out of time duration sampled; or behavior duration observed out of duration of observation.
Users record a sum of all points or observed events for the entire day. The ATS charts daily points, allowing comparisons from one day to the next. |
Advanced Tier Spreadsheet Classic for Google Sheets | The ATS-Classic for Google Sheets has most of the functionality of the excel version, and is shareable among school staff with a need to know and a need to access. This allows users to update the database from different locations throughout the building, and on different devices, provided they have internet access.

Advanced Tier Spreadsheet by Time Segment (ATS-Segment) |
The ATS-Segments allows the user to collect and summarize points or events for up to 7 periods during the day. This allows users to compare periods of the day, as well as day-to-day summaries of the data. By comparing different time segments, users can identify settings in which the student may need additional support. The ATS-Segments requires slightly more time to enter daily data, but can yield rich information useful for interpreting student behavior. |
Advanced Tier Spreadsheet by Time Segments for Google Sheets | The ATS-Segments for Google Sheets has most of the functionality of the excel version, and is shareable among school staff with a need to know and a need to access. This allows users to update the database from different locations throughout the building, and on different devices, provided they have internet access.

BIP-IT 6.1 |
The BIP-IT is an Excel Spreadsheet that allows schools to track up to two behaviors and implementation fidelity for individual students on behavior intervention plans (BIP). This latest version provides guidance for teams on data collection and includes an information management system |
BIP-IT for Google Sheets | The BIP-IT for Google Sheets is a Spreadsheet that allows schools to track up to two behaviors and implementation fidelity for individual students on behavior intervention plans (BIP). This has most of the features and functionality of the BIP-IT for Excel. Although it does not link to folders that contain documentation for the student, you can create folders to store these documents in Google Drive, and insert a hyperlink, connecting these folders to the corresponding folder title on the Student File sheet of the BIP-IT |
District SAS/TFI Comparison At-A-Glance |
Spreadsheet for comparing TFI and SAS scores to help districts identify opportunities to provide support for schools. |
Base Rate Calculator |
Excel Spreadsheet used to calculate a school or district’s projected capacity, actual need, and actual capacity to serve the needs for students at all three tiers of support. |
