The window for taking the School Safety Survey (SSS), the School Climate Survey (SCS) and the Fall Tiered Fidelity Inventory (TFI) is from August 6 through September 14.

Beginning with  the 2018-2019 school year, MO SW-PBS is giving teams the option of taking either the School Safety Survey (SSS) or the School Climate Survey (SCS). Either one will meet state recognition requirements.

The School Safety Survey (SSS) measures Risk Factors at a school and  in the surrounding neighborhoods, and  Safety Factors that the school implements to protect students. The survey is taken via a survey link that can be accessed by designated individuals at your  school, or  by your  regional consultant. All stakeholders at the school are encouraged to take this survey. More information  can be found at https://www.pbisapps.org/Pages/Default.aspx, or by contacting your  regional consultant.

The School Climate Survey (SCS) is new. This survey gathers student perceptions of  how safe and supportive they feel the school is for them. There is  an elementary version for  students in  grades  3-5, and a  secondary version  for students in grades 6-12 (in elementary schools  that serve students in grades k-6, 6th graders may also take the elementary version). This survey is taken via a survey link that can be accessed from PBIS Apps by specific individuals at the school, or by your  regional  consultant. The link can be emailed  to all students  who are  taking  the survey. More information  can be found at https://www.pbisapps.org/Pages/Default.aspx, or by contacting your  regional consultant.

The Tiered Fidelity Inventory (TFI) is typically taken in the spring of each year. However, schools that are just beginning either  Tier  2 or  Tier  3 training  are  encouraged to take the TFI in the Fall of  their  first year of training. In addition, any Tier 2 or Tier 3 team may take the TFI in the fall, if they wish to use the TFI  for progress monitoring. Teams  only take the tiered  scale at which they have trained or are beginning training. This survey is taken by the team, and  entered directly into PBIS Assessments by a designated team member with a PBIS Assessments account. A consultant can facilitate the team as they take the survey. In addition, teams are encouraged to have a consultant conduct a TFI walkthrough as part of the Tier 1 Scale of the TFI. More information  can be found at https://www.pbisapps.org/Pages/Default.aspx, or by contacting your  regional consultant.
