This session will focus on a specific Tier 2 Intervention: Newcomer’s Club. This intervention is connected to a comprehensive, integrated three- tiered system of prevention and intervention. The purpose of Newcomer’s Club is to build a system to support new students to the school. The outcome is for new students to learn and be able to follow the schoolwide expectations, classroom expectations and routines, and to make friends. Critical features and school exemplars will be discussed and shared.
