National Center for Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports

Ohio Integrated Systems Model: Incorporates SW-PBS with literacy and is an example of a statewide initiative.

U.S. Office of Special Education, Ideas that Work: Scroll to bottom of page for PBS information under Behavior link.

Center for Evidence-Based Practice: Young Children with Challenging Behavior; primarily addresses younger children, but also informs best practices related to children in kindergarten.

Families and Advocates Partnership for Education: Type "PBIS" into Search link for information about several PBS related initiatives.

University of Oregon Educational & Community Supports (ECS): "Projects" link provides information on a number of initiatives designed to support LRE and reduce the likelihood of suspension and expulsion. The research studies cited for some of the initiatives (the far right column) also address these topics.

National Association of School Psychologists (NASP): Website offers fact sheets on PBS, ADHD and Social Skills, each of which have applicability to SW-PBS.

Bazelon Center for Mental Health Law: Their publication Way to Go: School Success for Children with Mental Health Care Needs discusses the success SW-PBS can offer schools for the inclusion of students with mental health needs.National Dissemination Center for Children with Disabilities: Provides a link under "A-Z Topics" for PBS. Center for Effective Collaboration and Practice: Offers guidance regarding appropriate functional behavioral assessments, and several documents associated with safe and effective school environments.

The Beach Center on Disability: Located at the University of Kansas, The Center has conducted extensive research on PBS across individual, group and school-wide systems.

Institute on Violence and Destructive Behavior: The home page features publications and links to several PBIS related topics.

Association for Positive Behavior Support: This site primarily features information about individualized (tertiary) supports. Information about SW-PBS and at-risk supports are also included.

School Wide Information Systems (SWIS): A web-based information system designed to help school personnel to use office referral data to design school-wide and individual student interventions.
