The purpose of this meeting is to form working groups across schools to address on-going challenges identified in the implementation of SW-PBS at the High School level. Outcomes of the Mo SW-PBS High School Forum include 1. Identifying successful practices for distribution among participating Missouri schools. 2. Identifying common on-gong challenges to shape regional trainings.
Participating teams should download the PBIS National Center High School Monograph and review recommendations to target for implementation during the 2010-11 school year. This document will guide the discussion groups that afternoon. This event follows the SW-PBS Summer Institute and is intended for junior high and high school teams that have been implementing with students for at least one year. Space is limited, register now!

Missouri Schoolwide Positive Behavior Support (MO SW-PBS) will be hosting two-day training workshops for teams that have just committed to SW-PBS. The training includes an overview of schoolwide positive behavior support, administrative support and leadership, creating a common purpose and approach to discipline, developing a clear set of positive schoolwide expectations and procedures for ongoing monitoring. Building teams will be given time to work together to define their purpose and develop materials to help them function as an efficient and effective team. In addition they will develop a matrix of schoolwide expectations and review their office disciplinary referral form to collect the information needed to make decisions. This training will guide teams to start their preparation year off on the right foot!

Missouri Schoolwide Positive Behavior Support (MO SW-PBS) will be hosting two-day training workshops for teams that have been planning and are getting ready to implement SW-PBS with their students. The training includes review of the seven essential components of SWPBS. Building teams will be given time to work together to review created artifacts and action plan. In addition they will prepare for the full implementation of Tier 1 SWPBS for the upcoming school year. This training will prepare teams to start their school year off ready to implement with students and families!
